Sponsor our LEARNING & WELLNESS programS in the Mississippi Delta

 

Our Mississippi Delta sponsorships work differently than sponsorships in our locations outside the US. Rather than supporting an individual child, our Mississippi sponsorships support the programs we provide to participants who come from families struggling with the day-to-day essentials. In this region, hot meals, affordable activities and reliable tutoring are not so easy to come by. Our Mississippi programs provide needed health and learning services that are rare in the Delta, such as:

  • Tutoring and homework help

  • Computer training

  • Driver’s license test prep

  • Crafts

  • Healthy meals and nutrition education

  • Exercise programs

  • Summer recreation, including swimming

We provide a stable meeting place full of support, learning and fun. Your contributions not only keep these valuable programs running, they also allow us to add more participants and activities.

To start your program sponsorship, please click on the button below. You may choose an amount and payment frequency (one-time or recurring). While every donation helps, recurring donations are especially appreciated since they allow us to plan and budget. You will receive confirmation of your sponsorship within 7–10 business days. You’ll also receive periodic email updates with photos and news about program activities and participants*.

* Given that these children are located in the US and within much closer "reach" via internet and geography, we have additional measures in place to protect their identities. We appreciate your support and understanding with this!
